Manual for Integrated Monitoring Subprogramme Hydrobiology of Lakes

This manual describes the hydrobiological field and laboratory methods used by the International Co-operative Programme on Integrated Monitoring of Air Pollution Effects on Ecosystems (ICP/IM Programme). ICP/IM Programme is a multidisciplinary ecosystem monitoring programme for the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (ECE). The Minimum Programme of the ICP/IM Programme includes a list of 43 indicators describing the state of aquatic biological communities. The manual provides detailed information for implementing the Programme, including definitions of the indicators, sampling methods and data analysis methods.
