An LCD panel, a color film base and a preparation method thereof are disclosed. The LCD panel comprises a color film base and an array base relative to each other. The color film base comprises a glass base, a common electrode formed on the glass base, a black matrix and a color layer formed on the common electrode, and a support column formed on the black matrix. The array base is provided with data lines and scanning lines intersecting each other. The color film base has no common electrode corresponding to the outermost data line and scanning line of the array base. Therefore, when the panel is pressed, the pixel electrode of the array base will not be connected with the common electrode of the color film base, so that the possibility of pressing line can be effectively eliminated, and the panel quality can be improved.
