E.coli DH5α Chemical Competent Cell

E.coli DH5α Chemical Competent Cell can be used for DNA heat shock transformation. DH5α is a common bacterium used for plasmid cloning. Its φ80lacZΔM15 gene product can be combined with the β-galactosidase amino terminus coded by the vector to achieve α complementation, which can be used for blue-white spot screening. Using pUC19 plasmid assay, the transformation efficiency can reach 108, which is suitable for efficient plasmid DNA cloning and can ensure the stable replication of high-copy plasmids.
