MAINCOTE™ HG-300 emulsion is a new high-performance waterborne resin launched by Dow Chemical Company. It can be used for primers, primers and primers in industrial coatings, and can be used in high-gloss systems. Compared with traditional acrylic resins, MAINCOTE™ HG-300 emulsion has excellent salt spray resistance and early water resistance in various formulations. Compared with waterborne epoxy resins, MAINCOTE™ HG-300 emulsion has lower VOC and does not contain heavy metal curing agents, providing a more environmentally friendly construction environment. The emulsion dries much faster than waterborne epoxy resins, and the hardness builds up faster, which can achieve stacking performance requirements earlier and improve construction efficiency. At the same time, the establishment of excellent early water resistance helps the paint film to be used in open environments. MAINCOTE™ HG-300 emulsion also has salt spray resistance comparable to or even better than waterborne epoxy resins, which helps to improve the durability of coating products.
