The GasAlertMicro 5 IR is a compact, water-resistant, and concussion-proof portable gas detector designed to monitor up to five atmospheric hazards including oxygen, combustibles, and toxic gases. It features a large backlit LCD, triple alarms (audible, visual, and vibrating), multi-language support, and compatibility with the MicroDock II calibration station. The device is powered by AA alkaline batteries or a hot-swappable rechargeable pack and offers a 15–20 hour battery life. It is certified for Class I, Division 1, Groups A, B, C, D environments and includes datalogging and user-selectable field options for enhanced field use.
The detector supports a wide range of gases including H2S, CO, O2, SO2, PH3, NH3, NO2, HCN, Cl2, ClO2, O3, CO2, and LEL, with measurement ranges from 0–1000 ppm for VOCs to 0–30% vol for oxygen.
