This manual applies to all staff and students operating RPAs for Monash University activities under the authority of Monash's RPA Operators Certificate (ReOC), both on and off Monash Campuses.
The RPA/Drone Operations Manual provides procedures to comply with Part 101 of the Civil Aviation Safety Regulations 1998 (CASR Part 101) for operations conducted by Monash University. It applies to all staff and students operating RPA under the authority of Monash's ReOC, both on and off campuses, excluding excluded category and micro RPA operations.
The Chief Remote Pilot (CRP) is responsible for maintaining the document.
The latest copy must be uploaded and distributed via AVCRM and the OHS website.
All changes must be notified to CASA no later than 21 days after the day the change occurred.
