This is a manual for a model airplane engine
This user guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing, starting, and maintaining the Horizon Hobby 9155 NT/NX Evolution® 2-stroke model airplane engine. It includes details on mounting the engine, installing the muffler, attaching the throttle linkage, and adjusting the fuel mixture using the SetRight™ needle valves. The guide also covers starting the engine, attaching the propeller, and troubleshooting fuel issues. The engine is factory-prepared and ready to fly with no break-in required, but users are advised to seek help from an experienced pilot during their first few flights if they are new to model aviation.
We recommend using high quality Cool Power Omega, Hangar 9® AeroBlend™ or Power Master fuels containing 10 to 15% Nitro. The Evolution Engine has been test run using these fuels.
The first indications will generally be the inability to start the engines at previously run needle-valve settings. Another clue might be that the engine has very poor idle, runs but bogs down tremendously during run up and/or will not attain the same rpms that you are used to.
