This manual provides maintenance and service procedures for Dynasys automatic transmissions. It applies to all Class 8 OTR vehicles. The recommended service procedures are intended to support authorized Dynasys trained dealers and service personnel. Note that any modifications to the truck could influence the serviceability of the Dynasys unit and/or methods used to service it. Depending on the version and vehicle equipment, changes in procedure and diagnosis may be required that are outside the scope of this manual. In any event, the directives in the service manual must be followed. Acknowledged engineering standards must also be observed when performing service and maintenance work.
