About this manual

This manual provides instructions for safely installing, calibrating, operating, and maintaining the GDS-IR infrared sensor. It covers safety precautions, technical specifications, installation guidelines, calibration procedures, and troubleshooting. The sensor detects various hydrocarbon gases and CO2 using infrared absorption technology and outputs a 4-20mA signal. It is designed for use in hazardous environments and requires qualified personnel for operation and servicing.

The manual includes detailed diagrams, component specifications, and maintenance tips, such as avoiding upside-down mounting, protecting from moisture, and regular calibration checks. It also lists compatible gases and temperature ranges, and provides dimensions and spare parts information for the sensor unit.
