The GeniusTM Checker/Calibrator is designed to verify the accuracy of GeniusTM 2 and GeniusTM 3 Tympanic Thermometers and perform automatic recalibration. The device features two independently controlled infrared calibration targets that simulate human ear temperatures at 32.22 °C (90.0 °F) and 40.55 °C (105.0 °F). It also has the capability to generate test reports for each thermometer tested, which can be saved to a USB flash drive.
