About this manual

The LPR403AL is a low-power dual-axis micro-machined gyroscope capable of measuring angular rate along pitch and roll axes. It provides excellent temperature stability and high resolution over an extended operating temperature range of -40 °C to +85 °C. The device includes a sensing element composed of a single driving mass, kept in continuous oscillation and capable of reacting, based on the Coriolis principle, when an angular rate is applied.

Frequently asked questions

What is the operating voltage range?

The device operates on a single supply voltage between 2.7 V and 3.6 V.

How does the self-test function work?

Connecting the ST pin to Vdd applies an electrostatic test-force to the seismic mass to verify mechanical and electrical operation.

What are the three power-saving modes?

The device supports Normal mode, Power-down mode, and Sleep mode, selected via the ST and SLEEP/PD pins.
