RECOGNITION SYSTEMS HandPunch 3000-4000 user manual

HandPunch is an identity verification system that reads the size and shape of the human hand to verify a person's identity. It does not read fingerprints or the palm. It uses optics and a CCD camera to capture a three-dimensional image of the hand and converts it into a template. By entering the employee's ID number and placing the hand, the system can compare the hand image with the template and store the punch information.
