About this manual

The ISD33060/075/090/120-4 products are single-chip CMOS voice record/playback solutions designed for 1- to 2-minute messaging applications in cellular phones and portable devices. These devices operate on a single +3 volt supply and include an on-chip oscillator, antialiasing filter, smoothing filter, AutoMute feature, audio amplifier, and high-density multilevel storage array.

Recordings are stored directly into on-chip nonvolatile memory cells without digitization or compression, providing zero-power message storage with a typical retention of 100 years. The devices support multiple durations (60, 75, 90, and 120 seconds) and can be controlled via a four-wire SPI interface or Microwire Serial Interface by a microcontroller.
