STA120 is a monolithic CMOS device that receives and decodes audio data according to the AES/EBU, IEC 958, S/PDIF, & EIAJ CP-340/1201 interface standards.
The STA120 is a monolithic CMOS device designed to receive and decode audio data according to professional (AES/EBU) and consumer (IEC 958, S/PDIF, EIAJ CP-340/1201) interface standards. It features an on-chip clock recovery system that provides a low-jitter master clock output at 256 times the sample frequency.
| Operating Temperature | -30 to +85 °C |
|---|---|
| Clock Jitter | 300 ps RMS |
| Supported Formats | AES/EBU, IEC 958, S/PDIF, EIAJ CP-340/1201 |
The nominal power supply voltage is 3.3V.
It can decode both differential and single-ended inputs using a Schmitt trigger with 50mV hysteresis.
It connects to an external filter circuit consisting of a resistor and capacitors required for the PLL loop.
