The TSA1203 is a dual-channel 12-bit 40 Msps analog-to-digital converter with 215 mW power consumption, built in 0.25 um CMOS with a pipeline structure and digital error correction. It uses a 2.5 V supply and has an independent CMOS output stage supply with 2.5 V/3.3 V capability.
Each channel has an integrated voltage reference, with external reference capability, and the ADC binary word outputs are multiplexed on a common bus with tri-state output enable. The document covers pin descriptions, dynamic and timing characteristics, absolute maximum ratings, operating conditions, electrical characteristics, application information, the EVAL1203/BA evaluation board, practical application examples and package mechanical data. The part is specified over -40°C to +85°C and is available in a 48-pin TQFP package.
