About this manual

The TDA7540N is a high performance tuner circuit for AM/FM car radios designed using BICMOS technology. It integrates mixers, IF amplifiers, demodulators for both AM and FM, a stereodecoder, quality detection, an ISS filter, and a PLL synthesizer on a single chip to minimize external components.

The device features an Intelligent Selectivity System (ISS) for cancellation of adjacent channel and noise influences. It includes fully electronic alignment controlled via I2C-Bus, allowing for flexible configuration of the FM and AM sections, stereodecoder characteristics, and various quality detection functions.
