This data brief introduces the STEVAL-CCA025V1 headphone amplifier demonstration board based on the TS4621E.
The STEVAL-CCA025V1 is a demonstration board designed for evaluating the TS4621E audio differential input stereo headphone amplifier. The device is soldered on a four-layer PCB and includes an integrated high-efficiency buck converter with no output coupling capacitors.
An on-board RS-232 to PC interface allows the board to be easily controlled from a personal computer via a serial port, or through another I²C interface using the connectors. The provided software controls features such as gain, mode, mute, standby, and register status.
| Power supply range | 2.3 V to 4.8 V |
|---|---|
| Quiescent current | 0.6 mA/channel |
| Current consumption (10 dB crest factor) | 2.1 mA |
| THD+N typical | 0.006% at 1 kHz |
| PSRR typical | 100 dB at 217 Hz |
| SNR A-weighted (G = 0 dB) | 100 dB |
| Standby current max | 5 uA |
The power supply range is 2.3 V to 4.8 V.
No, there are no output coupling capacitors due to the internal negative supply.
