SD1010D is a single-chip integrated digital video interface chip for designing XGA TFT LCD monitors. It can automatically detect the display resolution and timing of the input signals from various PC graphics cards, without the need for special drivers and manual adjustments, and then automatically scale the input image to fill the entire screen. SD1010D can generate 24-bit or 48-bit RGB signals to interface to TFT LCD panels from various manufacturers based on the timing parameters saved in the EEPROM. SD1010D implements four advanced display technologies: advanced mode detection without any external CPU assist, advanced programmable interpolation algorithm, stand-alone mode support, and advanced true color support with both dithering and frame modulation. SD1010D also provides distinguished system features to the TFT LCD monitor solution.
