t104 24 hour dial time switch
The document is a user guide for the Intermatic T104, a 24-hour dial time switch rated at 40 amps resistive per pole. It covers electrical specifications including voltage ranges (120-480V AC) and motor requirements.
The manual details how to wire the device using copper conductors, specifying minimum torque for terminal screws. It also explains programming procedures for setting ON/OFF times and adjusting the time-of-day pointer after a power failure.
| Rating (Resistive) | 40 AMP. RESISTIVE EACH POLE |
|---|---|
| Rating (Inductive/Tungsten) | 40 AMP INDUCTIVE OR TUNGSTEN |
| Voltage Range | 120-480 VOLT |
| Clock Motor Voltage | 208-277 VOLTS - 60 HZ. |
| Terminal Screw Torque | 25 lb-in minimum |
Hold trippers against the edge of the CLOCK-DIAL, pointing to the desired AM or PM time, then tighten the tripper screws firmly.
Pull the CLOCK-DIAL outward, turn it in either direction to align the exact time with the pointer, but do not move the pointer itself.
Reset the CLOCK-DIAL to the proper time-of-day and follow programming instructions.
