The Pentair Admiral S-20 is an automatic skimmer designed to maintain pool cleanliness by removing debris from the water surface. The device operates by passing water over a weir, through a basket, and into an equalizer assembly before reaching the pump. Key safety warnings emphasize keeping the lid securely fastened at all times to prevent injury if stepped on.
The skimmer baskets should be checked and emptied at least once a week, or once a day if it is especially windy.
The pump lowers the water in the skimmer to the equalizer float, shutting off the upper portion so water flows from the equalizer line directly to the pump.
Insert your index finger into the slots in the lid and press the tabs toward the center while lifting.
