CONTINUUM® is Settima FM's new generation of high pressure and low noise hydraulic pumps. The helical rotor design can effectively suppress the noise and pulsation of the pump, thereby reducing the system's energy consumption and power consumption.
This document introduces the Settima Continuum product line of helical rotor pumps designed for high-pressure and low-noise hydraulic applications. The design utilizes three patented breakthroughs—rotor profile, screw step, and inner force balancing—to eliminate trapped fluid between gears, resulting in smooth pressure growth and significantly reduced noise levels compared to traditional gear pumps.
The technical specifications cover a range of models from GR28 to GR72, detailing operational parameters such as continuous pressure up to 240 bar, peak pressures of 280 bar, and shaft speeds ranging from 700 to 3,600 rpm. The document also provides dimensional drawings for various shaft types (1-C3, 1P-C2, 1L-GL54, etc.) and lists compatible flange groups, fluid types, and environmental temperature limits.

The main design objective is the total absence of trapped and compressed oil between the gears, ensuring smooth pressure changes.
Compatible fluids include mineral oils (HLP, HLVP), ecological fluids (HETG-HEPG-HEE), synthetic fluids/emulsions (HFA, HEB), and phosphate esters (HFDR).
