MIDDEX ELECTRONIC WK2A WK2B is a tool breakage monitoring system that uses a digital angle encoder for position measurement. Teach-in is only required for the first use or when there is a change in the tool or probe position. The tool position is saved even after the device is turned off.
This manual describes the Middex-Electronic WK2A and WK2B tool monitoring systems, which replace the older WK2 system. The WK2A is designed for general tool monitoring, while the WK2B features a reduced touch force suitable for small tools. Use the PNP/NPN jumper; PNP is active at 24V and NPN is active at 0V.
Green means OK, red means NotOK, and yellow indicates a fault with the probe or cable.
