Technical specifications and features of the Water Saturation Point Sensor WSPS 05, including measurement range, temperature range, accuracy, operating pressure, etc.
The INTERNORMEN WSPS 05 is a Water Saturation Point Sensor designed to detect free water in hydraulic or lubrication systems. It operates as a capacitive sensor where a polymer film absorbs water molecules, changing the capacitance to generate a 4...20 mA output signal corresponding to the saturation state in percent. The sensor also includes an integrated temperature sensor. This manual is written in German.
| Measurement Range (Saturation) | 0-100 % |
|---|---|
| Temperature Range | -25...+ 100°C |
| Operating Pressure | 0...25 bar |
| Supply Voltage | 12...30 VDC |
| Output Signal | 2x 4...20 mA |
| Protection Class | IP 65 |
The sensor should be cleaned using clean petroleum benzine or clean isopropanol.
The sensor measures a saturation degree from 0 to 100 percent.
The device operates at a pressure between 0 and 25 bar.
