This manual introduces the use of the JT series control system.
The JT control systems are designed for vibrating installations powered from AC mains. The manual begins with essential electrical safety warnings, emphasizing that the system must be de‑energised and earth‑connected before any work. It also covers EMC legislation and required grounding measures.
Subsequent sections detail installation, wiring, connection diagrams, special characteristics such as regulator release and output‑side switching, commissioning steps, settings, maintenance, fault finding, and technical data. Appendices provide dimensions, fuse types, and a complete connection diagram.
| Nominal mains voltage | 230 V, 400 V, 500 V (2Ph/1Ph+N) |
|---|---|
| Mains voltage ranges | 200‑250 V, 380‑440 V, 460‑525 V |
| Nominal mains frequency | 50/60 Hz ± 1 % max. |
| Output current | 14 A / 26 A / 45 A / 70 A |
| Output frequency | 50 Hz or 25 Hz, 60 Hz or 30 Hz |
| Setpoint input range | 0‑4 – 20 mA (250 Ω load) or 0‑10 V (selectable) |
| Actual value output | 0‑10 V, RL ≥ 10 kΩ |
For JT14 the maximum cable size is 16 mm² with a 2.5 mm² conductor and a 2 × 16 mm² configuration.
When the regulator release terminals are open the regulator is blocked and the drive is idle; shorting the terminals releases the regulator and allows the drive to vibrate.
