EC1086 is a low dropout positive voltage regulator with a maximum dropout of 1.5V at 1.5A of load current.
The EC1086 is a series of low dropout positive voltage regulators with a maximum dropout of 1.5V at 1.5A of load current. The series includes fixed versions in 1.5V, 1.8V, 2.5V, 3V, 3.3V, and 5.0V, as well as an adjustable version that sets the output voltage with two external resistors.
The device features on-chip thermal shutdown, a bandgap reference, and current limiting circuits. It is available in standard packages including TO-263-3L, TO-220, SOT-223, and TO-252.
