Barksdale XT/XTi Transmitter Data Sheet

XT/XTi transmitters are a type of transmitter for bypass level indicators. The measuring principle and construction of this series are identical to those of the XM series, however the XT series is equipped with a 2-wire transmitter module that converts the resistance into a 4-20mA output signal. An option with linearization of the tank content graph is available. There are two versions available: XT - Standard version and XTi - Intrinsically safe version.

About this manual

The document describes the Barksdale XT and XTi series of transmitters designed for use with bypass level indicators. These devices convert resistance from a sensor into a standard 4...20 mA output signal. The XT version is a standard transmitter, while the XTi version is intrinsically safe (EEx ia IIC) for hazardous areas.
