This document introduces the usage and technical specifications of a wireless intercom. The intercom has 22 channels and 38 CTCSS codes, allowing communication with other intercoms. By setting the same channel and CTCSS code, communication can be established. The intercom has two communication modes, FRS and GMRS, with different communication ranges. The intercom also has additional features such as power boost, call tone alerts, backlit LCD display, etc.
The Uniden GMR1058-2CK(4CK) is a lightweight, palm-sized General Mobile Radio Service (GMRS) radio designed for communication in sporting events, hiking, skiing, and neighborhood watch scenarios. The device features 22 channels with selectable CTCSS codes to prevent interference from other users.

With the radio in "Normal" mode, press the chkey and then press the L or M key to increase or decrease the channel number displayed.
Enter the Menu, advance until the vox icon appears, select a level from 1-3 using the L or M key, and exit the menu.
You must recharge the battery for 16 hours before removing it from the charging cradle.
FRS Channels 8-14 have an expectancy range of up to 3 miles, while GMRS channels have a range of up to 10 miles with power boost.
