The SH-110 Exhaust Silencer Kit is designed to reduce total sound pressure levels caused by exhaust pulsation in Varian SH-110 scroll pumps. It also mitigates audible noise in sensitive frequencies and collects tip seal dust using a 5-micron filter element.
The kit includes various components such as a filter/silencer can, Tygon hose, NW16 connectors, and clamps. Installation involves unscrewing the pump's exhaust coupler and connecting the provided fittings and tubing to the resonator assembly according to specific steps outlined in the manual.
The kit reduces total sound pressure level due to exhaust pulsation, mitigates audible noise in sensitive frequencies, and collects tip seal dust with a 5-micron filter element.
The replacement filter element is rated 99% efficient at the 5-micron particle size.
