About this manual

The ROHM BA5208AF is a high-power dual power amplifier designed for bridge-tied load (BTL) operation. It delivers up to 400 mW into an 8Ω load in BTL connection and requires neither large bootstrap capacitors nor output coupling capacitors when used in this configuration.

The device features low distortion, low noise, and a built-in muting circuit to minimize power-on/off pop noise. It is available in a compact 16-pin MF package and is suitable for applications such as compact cassette recorders, microcassette recorders, and radio cassette recorders.
