About this manual

The M Series silicon rectifiers from Edal Industries are designed for moisture resistance meeting MIL Standard 202A, Method 106, allowing reduced assembly costs with a rugged tubular construction and flexible leads for point‑to‑point soldering. The design offers excellent thermal conductivity and stable, uniform electrical characteristics using a passivated double‑diffused junction technique.

The series includes standard and bulk avalanche types with voltage ratings from 50 V to 1500 V PIV and current ratings from 1.5 A to 6.0 A. Fast‑recovery versions are also available. Performance curves show forward voltage drop, surge current rating, and temperature dependence up to a junction temperature of 175 °C.
