About this manual

The NR Series varistors are voltage‑dependent, non‑linear resistors designed for transient suppression in electrical circuits. They feature high transient current capability, fast response, low leakage, low capacitance, and an epoxy coating that protects against heat, humidity, shock and vibration.

Technical tables list steady‑state voltage, clamping voltage, test current and energy ratings for a wide range of part numbers. The devices are UL recognized and CSA certified, and are supplied by Stetron International with dimensions provided in both inches and millimetres.
