AZ100ELT21 is a PECL to CMOS/TTL translator from AZmicrotek. It uses PECL levels and only needs VCC and ground power. It supports 3.0V to 5.5V voltage range and can directly replace ON Semiconductor's MC100ELT21. It is suitable for applications where space, performance and low power are at a premium.
The AZ100ELT21 translator converts differential PECL inputs to CMOS/TTL outputs. It offers a typical propagation delay of 3.5 ns, differential PECL inputs, and CMOS/TTL outputs, all in a small‑outline 8‑lead package that requires only VCC and ground.
The device is supplied in SOIC‑8 and TSSOP‑8 packages with multiple part numbers. Electrical specifications include a supply range of 3.0 V‑5.5 V, input high voltage around 2.1 V (LVPECL) or 3.8 V (PECL), and output high/low levels of about 0.5 V. Absolute maximum ratings allow up to 7 V VCC and operation from –40 °C to +85 °C.
