It combines a multi‑standard video decoder, a high‑speed triple 8‑bit ADC, front‑end switching and an embedded microprocessor that provides full system control without external devices.
Key features include Faroudja® DCDi‑Edge image enhancement (Edge Correction, Horizontal Enhancement, Adaptive Contrast and Color, Active Color Management‑II), a programmable 3×3 matrix, CLUT gamma correction, independent H & V scaling, dual‑LVDS output up to SXGA, and extensive I/O such as 2‑wire slave controller, UART, JTAG and GPIOs.
