This document provides instructions for accessing the Sample Information Management System (SIMS) at the European Bioinformatics Institute. Users need a valid login name and password to access the system. Access rights are managed at the technology level and entry ownership level, determining the user's access to different functionalities and the ability to create new entries. The welcome page is the first page displayed after login, where users can modify their default group and perform external tasks. This document does not describe the features and characteristics of any specific product.
