About this manual

The GasClam is an in‑situ borehole gas monitor designed to measure methane, carbon dioxide, oxygen and other gases, as well as temperature, barometric pressure and borehole pressure. The manual covers installation, software setup, data handling, and optional sensor upgrades such as PID, CO, H₂S and water‑depth sensors.

Special attention is given to the effects of water and flooding on the instrument. The manual explains how to keep the unit dry, replace the moisture‑stripping filter, and use venting accessories to prevent water ingress.
