The ABUS 83CS 55 is a heavy‑duty padlock designed for medium to high security uses such as factory gates, out‑buildings and garages. Its robust design includes a hardened steel body and a hardened steel shackle to resist cutting, torsion and drill attacks.
Key features include a ball‑bearing locking mechanism, a 5‑pin tumbler core made from rust‑free components, an automatic locking and non‑key retaining function, a patented “Z” bar for dead‑locking and key‑retaining, and the supply of two keys. The lock is compatible with other ABUS products and can be fitted with hasps, staples, cables or chains.
