About this manual

The SSM2517 from Analog Devices is a filter‑less digital Class‑D audio amplifier that accepts a pulse‑density‑modulation (PDM) digital input. It integrates a DAC, power stage and digital interface on a single chip, delivering up to 2.4 W into a 4 Ω load while consuming only 10.4 mW quiescent power.

The device operates from a PVDD supply of 2.5 V‑5.5 V and a VDD supply of 1.62 V‑3.6 V, supports sample rates of 64× or 128× the master clock, and includes features such as smart power‑down, pop‑and‑click suppression, and an ultralow‑EMI mode. It is specified for industrial temperature ranges (‑40 °C to +85 °C) and is packaged in a 9‑ball wafer‑level chip‑scale package.
