Metallic cable glands are high performance metal cable fittings with a special construction that prevents twisting and ensures effective strain relief. They are easy to install and suitable for cables with outer diameters from 3.2 mm to 47.6 mm.
Shureseal offers a range of metallic cable glands with straight, 45°, and 90° styles, available in NPT and metric threads. They are made from zinc or galvanized steel, feature neoprene or rubber seals, have a metallic colour, and meet IP65 protection from -35 °C to +105 °C.
The catalog also includes plastic cable glands and cable grommets. Plastic glands are made from UV‑resistant polyamide 6.6, have a black colour, and meet IP65 protection from -34 °C to +105 °C with a UL 94 V‑2 flammability rating. Grommets feature a Neoprene body, polyamide 6.6 cable tie, and are suitable for cable diameters from 4 mm to 32 mm.
