UEIPAC SDK User Manual is the user manual of UEIPAC software development kit, which mainly introduces how to use UEIPAC software development kit for development
The UEIPAC SDK enables developers to create embedded applications that run directly on the UEIPAC hardware, replacing the standard DAQBIOS firmware with a Linux kernel and offering access to POSIX APIs and PowerDNA libraries. The manual describes the system architecture, available libraries, and how the UEIPAC extends PowerDNA data acquisition capabilities.
The document covers setting up a development environment on Windows or Linux, configuring the UEIPAC (serial port, network, web server, NTP, passwords), transferring files, building and installing the Linux kernel for various UEIPAC models, and using the provided libraries for application development, testing, and firmware upgrades.

Download the Cygwin installer (setup.exe) from http://www.cygwin.com, run it, and select the Archive, Devel, and Net package categories to install.
Change to the Linux source directory, run ‘make ARCH=powerpc CROSS_COMPILE=powerpc-604-linux-gnu‑ ueipac5200_defconfig’ to set defaults, customize with ‘make … menuconfig’, then compile with ‘make … cuImage.ueipac5s200’. The built kernel is placed in arch/powerpc/boot.
Edit the network configuration files on the UEIPAC to specify the static IP parameters as described in the ‘Configuring a static IP address’ section.
