About this manual

The PC99-JVC adapter links Nexxia steering control leads to JVC head units that are steering‑remote‑control ready and feature a 3.5 mm stereo socket. It is required when using the newer PC99‑X series leads with compatible head units.

The guide provides an eight‑step installation routine: keep the two orange wires on the JVC link disconnected, connect the JVC interface to the PC99‑X## lead, plug the main loom into the vehicle and head unit, power up the stereo to wake it, then connect the jack or steering‑remote wire, and finally wait up to 20 minutes for audio before testing. If any step is missed, the loom must be disconnected and the process restarted.
