This document describes the performance characteristics of the Oven Controlled Crystal Oscillators (OCXO’s) OC-290 produced by Vectron International, including frequency range, package size, supply voltage, output type, stability options, etc.
The OC-290 is a small surface‑mount oven‑controlled crystal oscillator from Vectron International. It offers a wide frequency range (2 MHz‑80 MHz) with standard options such as 5 MHz, 10 MHz and 13 MHz, and delivers tight stability as low as ±5 × 10⁻⁸ over 0 °C‑50 °C.
Key specifications include a 25.4 × 22.0 × 10.5 mm package, selectable 5 V or 3.3 V supply voltages, low supply current, HCMOS/LVHCMOS output, and various stability classes (B, D, F). Pad layout and ordering information are provided for PCB integration.
| Frequency range | 2 MHz to 80 MHz |
|---|---|
| Package size | 25.4 × 22.0 × 10.5 mm |
| Supply voltage options | 5 V DC +5 % (C) or 3.3 V DC +5 % (D) |
| Supply current (Temp Range B & D) | <1.25 W stabilized @ 25 °C |
| Output type | HCMOS, LVHCMOS Sinewave +0 dBm / 50 Ω |
| Stability (B‑508) | +5 × 10⁻⁸ over 0 °C‑50 °C |
| Aging (C option) | 1 × 10⁻⁹ per day |
It can be powered from either 5 V DC (+5 %) or 3.3 V DC (+5 %).
The B‑508 stability class provides ±5 × 10⁻⁸ over a temperature range of 0 °C to 50 °C.
