Thermosensor TS105-6 is a non-contact surface temperature sensor produced by HL-Planartechnik. The sensor uses micromechanical and thin film technology to miniaturize and cost-optimize the traditional thermocouple technology.
The TS105-6 thermosensor uses a thermopile based on the Seebeck effect. Many thermojunctions are deposited on a silicon substrate, insulated by a thin SiNx membrane, and an absorbing layer converts infrared radiation into heat, generating a voltage proportional to the radiation.
The manual lists technical data such as number of thermojunctions, sensitivity, resistance and temperature ranges, shows a connecting diagram, and describes typical applications including contact‑less temperature measurement, moving‑object monitoring, and safety or automotive systems.
| Number of thermojunctions | 100 |
|---|---|
| Material | BiSb, NiCr |
| Sensitivity | 110 V/W (typical at 25°C, 500 K, DC) |
| Resistance of thermopile | 50 Ω |
| Operation temperature range | -20 °C … 100 °C |
| Time constant | 163 ms |
The typical sensitivity is 110 V/W at 25 °C, 500 K, DC.
The sensor can operate from –20 °C up to 100 °C.
