The EC20 series programmable controller main module can expand multiple IO expansion modules and special function modules. The number of connected expansion modules depends on the power provided by the module.
The EC20-4AM is an analog input/output module for the EC20 series programmable controller. It connects to the system via an expansion cable and provides two analog input channels and two analog output channels.
The manual describes the module’s interface, wiring recommendations, BFM configuration registers, example applications, and fault checking procedures. It also includes warranty information and contact details for Emerson China. This manual is written in Chinese.
| Power supply | 24 VDC ±15 % (max ripple 5 %, 90 mA) |
|---|---|
| AD conversion speed | 153 ms/channel (normal), faster mode available |
| DA conversion speed | 6 ms/channel (max) |
| Input impedance | 200 kΩ |
| Analog input range | -10 V ~ +10 V (voltage) or -20 mA ~ +20 mA (current) |
| Analog output range | -10 V ~ +10 V (voltage) or 0 ~ 20 mA (current) |
| Default sampling count | 8 samples per channel |
The module is inserted into the system with an expansion cable that plugs into the main module or any other expansion module’s cable interface.
When the POWER LED is lit, the expansion cable is correctly connected; if it is off, check the cable connection and the main module.
