The ABC, Smoother, and SpaceSaver blenders are certified by ETL to UL standard 763, by CSA standard C22.2‑C 4‑No. 195‑m1987, and to CE standards.
Add 4 cups (1 L) of water and 1½ tsp (7 ml) of liquid dish‑washing soap to the jar, secure the lid, place the jar on the motor and pulse for 15 seconds, then rinse thoroughly.
It must be protected by a dedicated 20 A circuit breaker or fuse.
