This document is the user manual for the KX600 series, which introduces the features and usage of the products in this series.
The KX600 Series motherboard is built around the VIA KT600 chipset and supports AMD Athlon XPTM, Athlon, Duron, and Barton processors with front‑side‑bus speeds of 200‑400 MHz. It offers three DDR SDRAM slots for up to 3 GB of memory, a 1.5 V AGP slot (2X/4X/8X), five PCI slots, built‑in IDE interfaces supporting Ultra ATA 33‑133, a Realtek ALC650 AC’97 audio codec with 5.1‑channel support, and optional 3Com LAN on the PRO version.
The board includes six USB 2.0 ports, Phoenix‑Award BIOS with power‑management features, a watchdog timer, and CPU over‑temperature protection.
