LM2576/LM2576HV series simple switch 3A step-down voltage regulator general description
The LM2576 series are monolithic integrated circuits that provide all active functions for a step‑down (buck) switching regulator, delivering up to 3 A load current with excellent line and load regulation. They are available in fixed output versions of 3.3 V, 5 V, 12 V, 15 V and an adjustable version, and require only four external components.
The devices feature a 52 kHz fixed‑frequency internal oscillator, TTL shutdown capability, thermal shutdown, cycle‑by‑cycle current limiting, and a guaranteed ±4 % output voltage tolerance.
