This document introduces the features of the D Barksdale 26 type mechanical single/dual pressure switch, including repeatability, application range, protection class, electrical connection, weight, etc.
The Barksdale B1S-.../B2S-.. pressure switches are direct‑acting Bourdon tube devices with welded stainless‑steel parts. They offer high accuracy, a wide adjustment range and intrinsic safety features for demanding industrial applications such as pump control, die‑casting machines and power plants.
Key specifications include an adjustment range of 4.8 … 950 bar, repeatability of ±1 % at constant temperature, a switching rate up to 20 per minute, and operation from –40 °C to +75 °C. The switches are IPoO protected, weigh approximately 0.6 kg (B1S) or 0.7 kg (B2S), and use a 1/4" NPT female process connection.
