The 3111V and 3117 are two portable insulation resistance testers produced by Japan Koden Electric Instrument Co., Ltd. They have accurate insulation test function, easy-to-read high-precision display screen, energized circuit audible and visual alarm function, lockable test switch, releasing the test switch will automatically release the current on the circuit, and internal circuit with fuse protection.
The Kyoritsu 3111V and 3117 are battery‑powered insulation resistance testers offering multiple voltage ranges (e.g., 30 V‑1000 V) and built‑in alarm functions. The device features a portable case, interchangeable probes, and internal battery monitoring.
This manual covers safety precautions, technical specifications, component identification, detailed measurement procedures, and instructions for using and maintaining the portable case and internal battery. This manual is written in Japanese.
| Measurement range (DC) | 0‑1000 V |
|---|---|
| External dimensions | 143 mm (L) × 93 mm (W) × 63 mm (D) |
| Weight | 300 g |
| Accuracy | 0.2‑40 MΩ |
The portable case allows the tester to be carried conveniently; it should be placed at the bottom of the case when storing the instrument.
Select the appropriate voltage range (e.g., 230 V, 500 V, or 1000 V), connect the test leads to the circuit, ensure the alarm indicator is off, and read the displayed resistance value.
