This manual introduces the characteristics and operating points of ELECTROCOMPANIET AW120 DMB amplifier
The AW20 DMB is a dual‑channel power amplifier with two independent gain modules. The input module uses FETs without feedback to avoid feeding output current back to the input, while the output module includes local feedback to suppress high‑frequency noise. Power is supplied by two 650 VA toroidal transformers and each channel has large filter capacitors for low distortion and wide frequency response.
The manual explains connection methods (XLR balanced, RCA), the correct power‑on and power‑off sequence, fuse replacement, and ventilation requirements. Safety cautions include handling of the top cover, ensuring adequate spacing for cooling, and performing all wiring changes with the unit powered off. This manual is written in Chinese.
| Power (230 V) | 300 W |
|---|---|
| Current (230 V) | 2 A |
| Power (115 V) | 500 W |
| Current (115 V) | 4.4 A |
| Frequency response | 30 – 80 Hz |
Turn on the source and pre‑amplifier first, then the power amplifier; when shutting down, turn off the power amplifier first, then the source and pre‑amplifier.
The socket contains a fuse and a spare fuse that can be easily swapped out when needed.
