EXP4618 ZigBee DK is a comprehensive development tool suitable for various applications. The main chip is MSP430FG4618 and MSP430F2013. It can be used as a development tool for MSP430 MCU, and it can also be used for the evaluation and development of TI/Chipcon RF series devices, including ZigBee based on CC2420 and other ISM band short-range wireless transmission devices.
The EXP4618 ZigBee DK is a comprehensive development platform that combines an MSP430FG4618 MCU with an auxiliary MSP430F2013 and supports a range of TI Chipcon RF modules such as CC2420, CC1100, CC1101, CC1150, CC2500 and CC2550. The board includes a graphic LCD, RGB LEDs, a buzzer, RS‑232, and multiple expansion ports.
Power can be supplied via USB, a 2.0 mm DC jack (4‑10 V) or two AA batteries, all regulated to 3.3 V. Debugging is performed with MSP‑FET430UIE or MSP‑FET430PIF emulators using a 4‑line JTAG for the FG4618 and Spy‑Bi‑Wire for the F2013.
